1.Xieng Thong Temple: is located on the Souvanhnakhamphong Road by the Mekong River, It is considered as the most historically impressive temple among Luang Prabang’s ornate ones. The Temple is a Royal temple built by King Setthathirath in 1559 on the banks of the Mekong river. It is one of the few temples that was not destroyed from the enemy invasion. 3.The Royal Palace Museum: is the last Palace of Laotian Royalty turned into a museum. It’s located on the banks of the Mekong river, facing the Phou Si Mountain.
4.Green Jungle Park: is very natural park with green trees and grasses . Garden with more than 1,500 species of flower. It’s about 45 minutes south of Luang Prabang. 9.Morning Market: is near the Royal Palace Museum, 3 minutes walking. It is the Laotian market, where they sell their fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and variety local products.
10.Night Market: everyday opens 5.00pm until 11.00pm. It’s the place where locals and tourists come together to converse, shop and eat all in one location.
